My story

Where it all began

From an early age, I’ve been driven by curiosity and a love for creating. I built & did things I found exciting, fueled by the joy of bringing ideas to life.
Video game tournament we hosted - 2011
At 14, I started a computer and Xbox repair service, which led to selling used electronics on eBay. In college, I hosted video game tournaments, DJed, and threw concerts—creating experiences that brought people together. While working as a valet at local restaurants, I designed and built their websites, discovering how technology could help me launch a business.

My love for technology and design deepened through playing video games—shoutout to Halo. I became fascinated with its inner workings, teaching myself to program so I could modify levels and share my creations online. That early passion for building and sharing laid the foundation for my journey into technology and design.

In college, I co-founded my first tech startup. With no technical experience and little funding, we pitched a computer science class, partnered with two engineers, and hired a designer. When the designs didn’t meet expectations, I took matters into my own hands, working late into the night in Photoshop. That’s when I fell in love with design. Although the startup eventually shut down, it ignited something in me to keep going.

The big decision

Financial District in NYC - 2014
After graduating FAU with a business degree, I moved to New York and freelanced, designing and building websites and mobile apps for whoever would give me the time of day. As I gained credibility, luck had it that I received two job offers—one in iOS development and the other in design. I chose the design role, as I had more interest in making the complex simple.

Where I am today

Leila and I - 2024
Now, with over a decade of experience, I’ve been designing  digital products that help startups and global giants bring their boldest ideas to life. Whether it’s improving existing systems or going from 0 > 1, my work remains inspired by the same curiosity and creativity that began with video games—and the belief that great design makes even the boldest ideas feel effortless.

When I’m not designing, I enjoy hiking, exploring new neighborhoods, and snowboarding in the winter. I love spending time with my wife, Leila, sharing our passion for culinary adventures and wine, and hanging out with our Australian Shepherd, Mowgli, who is always up for an adventure—or just some quality time chasing a ball.
